Who am I?
Hello Internet. I am Paul F. Ferguson. This is my blog. I include the F. because I want to distinguish myself slightly from all the other Paul Fergusons on the internet, of which there are many. It also deservedly puts me in the company of other such presidential fellows such as Chester A. Arthur and John Q. Adams.
I currently live in Glasgow, Scotland. It's okay. I wouldn't mind living somewhere else though.
I use this blog to post things of various interest including thoughts, interests, music reviews, game reviews, photos, whatever I feel like. Sometimes I talk about my life, but it's not that interesting, so mostly other stuff.
I am going to redesign it in 2011, mark my words.

Portal 2…
… is pretty awesome. I can see there’s a ridiculous amount of backlash out there right now, some grounded and some not. I followed the potato ARG only casually for the most part, and it’s fair to say that like … Continue reading

Hooray for GiantBomb which handed out a bunch of Star Trek Online beta keys a couple of weeks back, allowing myself and Mr. MyCousin to play through this beta. Let me first state upfront that I have never played World … Continue reading

Final Fantasy XII
This is an odd one. Professional reviewers everywhere loved it. Final Fantasy fanatics however were split down the middle. The legacy of Final Fantasy VII is that every time a new Final Fantasy comes out, it’s judged by how far … Continue reading

Left4Dead
I was playing Left4Dead earlier, and I was kicked out of an 8v8 game of Verses mode, literally for dying immediately after saving some guy from a smoker and saying afterwards “Man, I try to save a guy, and this … Continue reading

Braid
So, I got Braid last week. Mind blowing. So what is Braid? Well, Braid is an independently produced “videogame” by a “man” named “Jonathan Blow”. It’s a 2D platformer on the surface, drawing heavily on classics like Super Mario Bros, … Continue reading

Control: A Historical Review of Joypads
That is by far the geekiest title for a post I have ever made, and I only hope the full 3000-word text lives up to that expectation. You see, I thought I’d do something different today. Rather than review an … Continue reading

Bioshock (PC)
Sometimes I realise that I tend to review things I like rather than things I don’t, which is fair enough considering I’m not a professional reviewer. However, just to balance things out, every once in a while I like to … Continue reading

Super Mario Galaxy
In a well-reported stroke of probably accidental hilarity, the cover for Super Mario Galaxy proclaims to the world “U R MR GAY”. Too right. So, Super Mario Galaxy is a Mario game of the 3D variety on the Wii. This … Continue reading
